About

Janice earned her BFA from MICA (Maryland Institute, College of Art) and her MFA from Queens College, CUNY. She has taught Art in many capacities, currently offering adult Drawing classes in her studio in Montclair, New Jersey. 

Janice has been awarded residencies at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts (Geraldine R. Dodge foundation fellowship) and at the Millay Colony for the Arts. 

Her work has a keen sense of observation, rhythmic compositions, and humor. 

Her work is held in numerous private collections nationally. 

Janice lives in Montclair, New Jersey.
